IPP has opened a new depot in the town of Marolles-en-Hurepoix in the Essonne department ( 91). The latter is the largest IPP service center in France.

Since 2014, IPP has been collecting its “brick brown” color pallets in Ile-de-France and for the Center region from a 10,500 m2 service center located in the town of Bondoufle. To support its strong growth, IPP has chosen to relocate its reconditioning activity to a larger site, based in Marolles-en-Hurepoix, also in Essonne.

A capacity of 3.5 million pallets

Operational since mid-January, the 15,000 m2 site is the largest of the 15 IPP service centers in France in terms of surface area and processing capacity: it can sort and recondition up to 3,5 million pallets per year. The site was chosen in particular for its geographical location. Located 12 km from the old depot, it is at the heart of the logistics platforms of distribution brands and logistics providers in Essonne and Seine-et-Marne. It benefits from more automated infrastructure, such as its paint booth, a dryer with a capacity of 1,500 pallets per cycle, meeting phytosanitary treatment standards NIMP15, and a connection to the rail network allowing IPP to reduce the carbon footprint of transport.

“The opening of this new depot is in line with our desire to support our customers, both in terms of their growth, by offering them greater processing capacity, as well as their environmental requirements, by having a connection to the rail network. All this while guaranteeing them a high level of pallet quality ”explains Luc Turban, Director of Operations at IPP France.
