Faber Halbertsma Group receives Ecovadis Platinum sustainability rating
In September 2021, the Faber Halbertsma Group received the Platinum status of Ecovadis – the highest sustainability ranking which puts us in the top 1% tier of companies in our industry. EcoVadis is a leading provider of business sustainability ratings, with a network of more than 75,000 rated companies.
Ingrid Faber, CEO of Faber Halbertsma Group: “The Platinum Ecovadis rating is a great recognition of the continuous efforts we undertake with our divisions IPP, PRS, PAKi, vPOOL and SATIM to be a leading company in sustainability and contribute to the circular economy. Our business model - providing mainly wooden load carriers like pallets and boxes on a pay-per-use basis – already perfectly fits in within the circular economy. We are also now increasingly focussed on how we can reduce the footprint of our supporting activities in our chain with our logistic partners – as well as how our services can support our customers in their sustainability objectives. I’m very proud of this achievement which underlines our purpose to carry impact and motivates us to keep raising the bar.”
Ecovadis assesses and rates the sustainability efforts of companies worldwide on 21 criteria related to environment, labour & human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement – considering policies, actions and reporting. With a score of 79 out of 100, Faber Halbertsma Group and its divisions are now proudly part of the top 1% tier companies recognized with Platinum Ecovadis rating.
