On October 14th, IPP CEO Thomas Domson represented Faber Group at a visit of EU Commissioner Roswall, organized by Reusable Packaging Europe (RPE).

During the visit, Commissioner Roswall and several Members of the European Parliament discussed the future of reusable transport packaging in Europe in the context of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).

This was followed by a site visit where Commissioner Roswall could observe the reusable load carrier pooling system in action and see how this circular model contributes to the goals of the PPWR.

“Commissioner Roswall’s visit reaffirmed that circularity and competitiveness go hand in hand,” said Thomas Domson, CEO of IPP. “Pallet pooling is proof that reuse at scale isn’t a future vision – it’s happening now, across Europe’s supply chains.”

He added: “Circularity is not just an environmental goal, it’s a business model for the future. By reusing assets again and again, we’re showing how innovation in logistics supports Europe’s clean, competitive economy.”

The visit highlighted how pallet pooling embodies true reuse: keeping materials in circulation, cutting emissions, and demonstrating that efficient logistics can drive Europe’s circular transition.
