Building sustainability from the source

At IPP, responsible sourcing is where sustainability truly begins. Every pallet we provide is part of a bigger story – one that starts with the wood, the people, and the partnerships behind it.

Together with our suppliers, we make sure every step in our supply chain supports smarter, more sustainable growth.

One example is C.M.C. Sp. z o.o., a trusted partner producing wooden pallets and components across Poland and Spain. CMC holds both FSC® Chain of Custody and ISO 9001:2015 certifications, guaranteeing that wood comes from responsibly managed forests and that every production site operates under consistent quality standards. These certifications ensure full traceability, protect biodiversity and support forest communities. By working with certified suppliers, we deliver pallets that are reliable, durable, and better for the planet. Also, the wood used for IPP pallets comes mainly from their own sawmills, located locally. This not only ensures quality, but also reduces transportation emissions and strengthens our regional supply chains.

Sustainability is also embedded in the production practices. All drying chambers in CMC Poland are heated with biomass furnaces (wood chips), allowing the efficient use of waste from the production process. Additionally, each plant uses photovoltaic panels, harnessing solar energy to reduce reliance on fossil fuels.

And we’re not stopping here! We’re working to expand these responsible sourcing practices across our entire supplier network, aiming to make sustainability a natural part of how we work and grow.
