In fast-moving supply chains, every kilometer counts. For WEPA, one of Europe’s leading hygiene companies, and IPP, the challenge was clear: how to reduce empty runs and lower emissions while keeping products flowing. Together, we created a smarter loop that proves collaboration can deliver both efficiency and sustainability.
Turning return trips into opportunities
When trucks return empty after deliveries, it wastes time, fuel, and money. In partnership with IPP, WEPA redesigned this flow. Their hauliers now deliver hygiene products to retailers, collect empty pallets for IPP on the way back, and then pick up fresh pallets for production on the return leg.
By making every journey count, a simple change became a circular solution.
Smarter logistics, measurable impact
This closed-loop system reduces wasted mileage, cuts CO₂ emissions, and improves efficiency across the chain. For WEPA, it means leaner, more reliable operations. For IPP, it shows how Collaboration Transport Management (CTM) translates into real value for customers, reducing costs and environmental impact at the same time.
The future: smarter partnerships for a circular economy
The WEPA collaboration is more than a single success story. It’s proof of how collaboration can cut costs and carbon at the same time. And it’s a model that can be scaled across industries. By rethinking transport flows and sharing resources, businesses can build supply chains that are leaner, greener, and more resilient.
