Under the EU’s new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), producers manufacturers are expected to take full responsibility for the lifecycle of their packaging. At IPP, we’ve built our entire model around that principle—from the beginning. In our closed-loop pooling system, IPP retains legal ownership of every pallet we put into circulation. That means we don’t just deliver packaging—we manage it. We maintain it. And we bring it back. Ownership ensures responsibility, and with IPP, that responsibility never leaves the loop.

Circular by Design. Accountable by Default.

IPP pallets are never sold or discarded. Instead, they move through the supply chain as durable, reusable assets that are tracked, retrieved, and rotated again and again. Because we retain legal title, we stay accountable for every pallet throughout its life and across every rotation.

This isn’t just aligned with the PPWR. It embodies it.

A System That Works — Because Everyone Plays Their Part

Circularity doesn’t happen by chance. It takes shared commitment. Our pooling model relies on clear responsibilities—not just for us, but for every customer who uses our pallets.

Under Article 27(4) of the PPWR, businesses that use reusable packaging in a closed-loop system, like the one provided by IPP, are required to return that packaging to an approved collection point. That obligation reflects what we’ve always believed: the loop only works when every partner actively participates.

IPP makes that easy. We provide the collection network, manage the reverse logistics, and support customers in meeting their sustainability goals, while keeping the system running smoothly.

IPP: Ownership That Delivers More

The PPWR calls for smarter systems, circular thinking, and real responsibility. IPP is already there. We’ve designed our business around a system that stays closed, to truly deliver impact with a greener future.
