Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device's IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile.

LinkedIn Insight Tag

Purpose: tracking & remarketing. This cookie (set by a script via Google Tag Manager) is used for the collection of advertising purposes, namely the anonymous measurement of advertising campaigns and the anonymous collection of data regarding your visits from LinkedIn ads to our website, including the URL , referrer, IP address, device and browser attributes, (user agent) and timestamp. The IP addresses will be truncated or (when used to reach members through devices) encrypted and members' direct identifiers will be deleted within seven days to pseudonymise the data. This remaining pseudonymous data will then be deleted within 180 days.
Sharing: LinkedIn does not share any personal information with us, it only provides reports (where you are not identifiable) about website visitors and ad performance. LinkedIn also provides the ability to re-reach our website visitors, allowing the website owner to display personalized ads from their website using this data, but without identifying the member. LinkedIn also uses the data where you are not identifiable to improve ad relevancy and reach members across devices.
LinkedIn members can control the use of their personal information for advertising purposes through their account settings.
Advert Pixels
Name: ADPIX
Purpose: IPP collects non-personally identifiable information through the use of tracking pixels that appear on our pages. A tracking pixel is placed on a web page and in combination with a cookie, allows us to collect information regarding the use of the web page that contains the tracking pixel.
We use tracking pixels to trigger ads on third party websites based on activity tracked from the browser on a device used to visit IPP. The data read out by the pixel from IPP is matched with the web analytics data of the third party. We also use them to tell when an advertisement we run on another website has been clicked on by IPP users, and use that information to judge which advertisements are more appealing to users. This profile is not linked to your name, address nor e-mail address, but only to match advertisements to your profile so that they are as relevant as possible to you.
